Preparation

  1. To make the marinade you first give soy sauce in a bowl. To the soy sauce the same ammount of sake and mirin is added. You should make enough of the sauce, so that the meat in the dish is covered.

  2. The grated ginger, as well as the garlic, are added according to taste.

  3. In the finished marinade the meat is inserted for at least 30 to 60 minutes: (the longer the meat stays in the marinade, the more it is seasoned.) In between, you should turn the meat over (stir), so that the marinade is distributed equally everywhere.

  4. Next, the meat is deep fried. Before deep frying it is turned over (breaded) in a mixture of one half flour, one half potato flour so that the meat is completely covered.

  5. After the breading the chicken is deep fried untill it is golden brown and is ready to be served.
