Recipe for Chinese Fried Noodles

火腿炒面

Fried noodles with ham and vegetables - Huo Tui Chao Mian



Ingredients: (4 portions)

Preparations:

Soak the mushrooms for 30 min in warm water. Cook the Noodles in salted water until dente. Cut mushrooms, ham, onion, green onion, cabbage and carrot into thin strips.

Instructions:

Whisk the eggs together and fry in a pan like an omelet.

Take the fried egg out of the pan and cut it into thin strips, then set those aside.

Heat 2 Tablespoons of oil in a pan and sauté the spring onion briefly.

Add the carrot and the cabbage.

Season with half a teaspoon of salt, may be add some water. Simmer for 2 minutes.
Take the steamed vegetables out of the wok and them set aside.

heat 2 Tablespoons of oil and fry mushrooms it shortly.

Add the roasted ham and fry for about 1 min. Stock with dissolved cornstarch.

Add the second spring onion. Add the pasta.

Fold in the pasta, then add the vegetables you had set aside.

Season with soy sauce and add the cut up egg.
